MANCHESTER - Easter Monday, with kids, at The Lowry, anybody?

They have an Easter egg treasure hunt for 5+, it's free and they get a choc egg at the end; it's a drop-in from 12-3. (Details here .) sykes is visiting forestfly and we thought it would be nice to get together if poss.

And it's indoors so if it rains we can still go!

Anybody interested? (I know lots of people are busy at Easter but if you're not please come!) There is a big discount shopping outlet there too. And culcha. And a cinema. And it's near Old Trafford.

Will be in Wales, otherwise might have been brave enough to finally meet some MNers IRL!

Wales is right next to Manchester, mm

Hi - not sure yet what I'm doing over easter but if I'm free I'd love to come. DS1 is nearly 5 so could get him to do it. Would it be OK to bring DS2 (2 3/4) though d'ya think? It's be nice to see Janh and FF again and to meet Sykes (I do have a sense of humour, honestly! - I'm just a bit thick and beleive anything!!). Moniker x

Oh I would have loved to come Janh and meet everybody, but can't make that date. I must try and get down to Manchester again ... who cares about the culture, the boys are desperate to go on a tram!

Hi, Moniker, am sure you have a sense of humour and it was very nice the way you leapt to the slapper's defence.

Oh any age can be there (FF and sykes both have a littler one), and under 5 should be fine to do the treasure hunt, we can all mill about and help. Would be v nice to see you again too moniker, and to meet your little dears!

Don't you mean drunken slapper ?

Oh, dear - it's FF's influence. Think I'm returning to my normal self, actually - it's taken long enough, a mere ten months.

Quite right, MM, better not add in any more adjectives .....

Have you guys met up before? I'm a newbie sort of. I've only been posting two months. Previously PipB. I live near Manchester and shop there quite often.

Definatly me - will check again on Thursday before I leave work just to make sure we are still on! Looking forward to it, Moniker x

Sorry - forgot to answer your Q! There have been two Manchester meet ups in the last year - FF, JanH and I met at the second one so you wouldn't have much catching up to do! It would be lovely to meet someone else - please come if you can! Moniker x

BUMP for Moniker and Flip! (Any more for the Skylark?)

FF and I thought 1pm would be a good time to meet - inside the entrance - ds2 has been and he says there is just one main entrance. Is that OK with you? Hope to see you there!
