Learn Spanish in Bristol while your child plays

Hello,

My name is Pola. I am a Spanish nurse who has just arrived to Bristol with my husband and two and one-half years old daughter. My husband is working at the University. I've a lot of free time and I would like to improve my English. Would you like to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea speaking half time in English and half time in Spanish? It could be a good experience for our children, who will play while we will be chatting. If you don't have children or they are older but you are interested in, there is no problem. I am sure that I'll find time and we will be able to improve languages and to share our cultures.

Best wishes

Pola

Hi Pola. My children are a little older but my dd who is 5 loves playing with younger children.
I have wanted to learn Spanish for a long time but have never even taken a lesson so you would be starting with an absolute beginner, I'm afraid. Blush
I have been considering teaching English as a second language as a career change though so you might be helping me decide if that is something to go for...
Another downside is I don't have a lot of spare time but pm me if you're interested, maybe we can arrange something. Smile

Hi Pola,

I would like to meet up and speak Spanish. I have a 19 month old daughter. I studied Spanish at university and teach at a secondary school. I live in Horfield. I have also taught English as a second language in Barcelona so would be happy to help you with your English.

Mary
