OK, so who would be interested in another Northern "lasses" meet up.

I'll own up and say I'm completely bombed out pre Christmas, and my idea of fun isn't fighting the Xmas shopping crowds to find lunch + and I need something to look forward to in the dark and dreary days of January, but that doesn't stop the rest of you meeting up before hand, if you want to. I promise not to sulk.

You're from Stockport aren't you Dadslib? I drove through the centre of there not long ago and actually stopped the car, got out and refused to drive any further! Dh had to take over.

I'll be up for a Manchester meet-up of mums AND dads! Will have to be in the New Year though as little Roo is due in 3 weeks and I need time to recover!

Would love to.
Forestfly is in Stockport and is offline at the moment, is anyone in touch with her so that she can come?

Wigan, would prefer City Centre as I will be coming in on the train. Meal would be fine, or dancing and wine!

How did I miss this thread? Blind as a bat.

I would like to meet up in the city centre pref, as I am now in the north mcr and it is easier for moi. Day if poss, food and booze, anywhere.

FF - where in Stockport are you from? I am from Offerton.

I'm from the wild and windy moors, but city centre or south is fine by me.

Likewise children or not.

I'll be travelling by train from Preston, so would prefer early evening as the trains back are often cancelled late on, and I'll still be bf so will need to get back. How about a late afternoon meet-up and those who can stay into the evening can, and those who have to get home will be able to leave early?

I'd quite like somewhere cheap and cheerful. A chinky sounds nice.

How about meeting at 6 then, is that early enough. I don't care what we do as long as i can drink and snog everyone

Report
lilibet · 21/11/2003 12:45

depends what date we decide on as to what time I can make it, if its the 17th I'm free all day as exh will be having the boys but if its the weekend after I will be tied to night as my mum will have the boys overnight, but cant have them duringthe day as well as she is nearly 77 and it would be a bit much for her.
I'm open to ideas as to where we should go, cheap as poss, and I'm a veggie but most places cater for that now.
