ITV's Tonight looking for a family of fresh food devotees to take part in a unique, fun food challenge

MEDIA: ITV's Tonight Programme Wed 04-Jun-14 14:25:16

Tonight, ITV's flagship current affairs series, is looking for a family to take part in a unique, fun food challenge.

We'd like to hear from fresh produce devotees - those who often cook from scratch and prefer to use fruit, veg, meat and fish from the fresh section of the supermarket. Those for whom a bag of frozen peas or a tub of ice cream is as far into the freezer aisle as you would typically go.

Our plan is, with the help of a qualified nutritionist/dietician, to swap some of those fresh ingredients for their frozen equivalents (individual ingredients - not ready meals) to see how they work in your usual family recipes. We'd like to know what, after a week, you make of the change in terms of quality, taste, food waste and cost.

If this sounds like you then please send your contact details and a family photo to victoria.thake@itv.com or call 0207 157 4597

We look forward to hearing from you!

Deadline for applications: Thursday 12th June
