Dear mums,

I am currently looking for people to tell me there funny wedding stories for research purposes. I am a writer and looking for stories mainly relating to troublesome in laws, out of control planning, interfering grandmothers etc. I would really appreciate it if people could send me there weird and wonderful stories relating to the lead up to their big day. If you could e-mail these to that would be brilliant and I do ask that all submissions be made anonymously. I am just looking for a bit of inspiration so please do change names or don't include names if that suits you. The stranger the better!

Thanks ladies

Hi there

Thanks for flagging this one; it's been moved to Media and Non-Member Requests now.

Have you tried a basic search of this site, to see if there are any threads here where mumsnetters tell their funny wedding stories? Maybe do that before asking, otherwise it could look as if you want us to do your research for you.

As a writer, you might want to swot up on the different types of there/their/they're.
