Hi Mums smile,

I am a postgraduate student from UCL and I am studying Psychoanalytical Developmental Psychology at the Anna Freud Centre. For my postgraduate study it is compulsory that we conduct observation on a mother and infant for an extended period of time. Members of this course are all required to have CRB checks so we are all safe to work with children. I have posted the official advertisement below, if anyone is interested please get in touch with me.
I know the concept might be a bit daunting having someone observe you and your child but I have studied psychology for my undergraduate degree and volunteered with autistic children in India, I am solely there to observe development and learn I am not there to judge. I would like to pursue a career in child psychology and by allowing me to observe you and your child I would be gaining priceless insight and knowledge.

The advertisement is as follows:

University CollegeLondon /
The Anna Freud Centre
MSc Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology

Would you be prepared to allow a postgraduate student to observe your baby for just one hour a week, in your own home, during the early months of your baby’s life?

This would provide invaluable experience for a student to learn more about child development, and acquaint them first hand with the growth and changes that occur in a baby’s early development.

If you think you might be interested, please contact:
Anwen Prendergast, MSc Course Administrator,
on 0207 443 2266.

REF: Tanya P. Vasunia please contact me on tanyavasunia@yahoo.com or on 07535537665

I really hope you hear from all those who are interested as soon as possible. Thank you so much.
Regards,
Tanya P. Vasunia
