This time I've made a few modifications. Last time I managed to get down to 8 stone 1 which is what I wanted and then suddenly I got really ill - stomach cramps etc.

So this time I've tried cutting down the amount of protein I've been having and not eating many eggs and it seems to be working a lot better Smile

Me too. I lost pretty close on 2 stone 18 months ago on boot camp. 8lb has crept back on. I started again on Monday and already lost 4lb.

Onward and downward Smile

It definitely works very dramatically but I think some people (me!) react badly to too much protein.

constipation? I get kidney pain with low carbon occasionally but cards make me feel ill anyway, haven't found anything that doesn't have some trade off.

No, I was violently ill and found I couldn't stomach any protein at all. So this time I've taken it much more slowly.

I can eat lower carb but cannot eat all the added fat and dairy and not too many nuts. If I do I get wind and terrible diarrhea . Also if I eat too much fat I get gallbladder attacks occasionally which are the most painful cramps next to labour pains. So be careful of fat.
