Tried low carbing a few months ago and lasted 2 weeks, craving were still quite bad throughout but I felt much more energetic, slept better and IBS symptoms were non-existent. I did lose about a kilo too which was great.
I fell off the wagon after a few glasses of wine and never managed to climb back on I have put that kilo back on as well as 2 more I definitely have a very bad relationship with food which stems from an ED as a teen and do mindlessly eat loads. I have a sweet tooth and will happily have ice cream/chocolate bar instead of a meal. Last time I found it very difficult to go without sweet snacks or fruit and I'd like to give it another go but don't know how to move forward. I want to lose about 30kgs in total so I know I'll have to stick to it. Does anyone have any tips for getting through the early stages before I can have the odd piece of fruit?
