I made this:

www.thelondoner.me/2014/03/mums-low-carb-bread.html

a) it actually worked (and I am no cook);
b) it is REALLY nice!

I would eat this even if not trying to cut down on carbs. It's got the feel of rye or sprouted bread.

Anyway, as you were.

I've made that a few times too! I find the first bite tastes a bit funny but the rest is nice.

What does it taste like? I am very picky about my tastes.

Do you think it would work as a pizza base?

I'm just tucking into some freshly baked 'bread' now. It's a bit cakey but not too eggy!

Butter and marmite is good. Not sure about it with almond butter...Cant wait to try with avocado for lunch tomorrow

Didn't taste eggy to me; more almondy. Had it toasted, though: not sure what it would be like untoasted.

Just tried a low-carb brownie recipe using stevia. Yeah, that didn't work.

Avocado topping is lovely. Just had it with pâté for breakfast...amazing!

That's very delicious, just like my favourite soda breads only not so "more-ish". Thanks for posting!

Made it yesterday. Tasted awful.

It was darker than the picture, looked like a chocolate loaf. Toasted it to have with egg, tasted chewy and made me dry heave.

Sad

Thank you Sicaq!!

I've just made this and it's amazing!

I'm scoffing it right now warm from the oven with proper butter and thinly sliced cheddar on top.

You've made a former bread addict very very happy Grin
