Low-carb diets

Dairy & berries - how much is too much?

So, cream, butter, cheese & yoghurt are all low carb but dairy can apparently make it harder for some people to lose weight. Should you limit dairy, and if so, how much?
Same for berries. I have perhaps 4 strawberries a day, but it feels like cheating! Are berries every day too much?

It all depends on how many carbs you're wanting to eat per day. If you're doing Atkins, and you're at the induction stage, the berries would be totally forbidden!

And re dairy, the only way to find out if it's an issue for you is to experiment. See what happens when you keep eating dairy but you're low carbing; if you're not losing then go for a few days without any dairy and see what happens

Thanks Because, I'm doing the Bootcamp Light from here, so not measuring carbs at all. I do hope dairy doesn't cause a stall; I seem to have replaced sugar with cream! Wink

I had to give up all fruit and all nuts and cream and cheese. I was using them to binge on. I have to have loads or none at all. So it's none
