Low-carb diets

Help for the lazy......

Have decided to do some low-carbing starting next week. Not to really lose tons weight although few pounds would be rather nice,
but because in the past, have felt my best when not indulging in carbs.

The problem is, I run out of ideas as to what to eat and get stuck in the rut. Also, my meals should tie in with the rest of the family who are eating everything.

I would massively appreciate a looooooong list of meals one could gather/prepare/munch on.

I am quite a lazy individual, particularly in the current heat wave and hoping for the kind low-carbers to take pity and feed me with the lists of their favourite meals. [so I wouldn't have to search and search the MN and Google - selfish]

I am a decent cook so don't need precise recipes, ingredients or self explanatory meals would be fine.

Thank you in advance!

I've started low-carbing too and feel better for it! Someone started a thread with recipes etc which might help:

Threemuskateers I am in a similar situation, I can cook but I'm not a great cook, but I'm not very imaginative so run out of ideas and cook the same stuff week in, week out, and then get fed up of eating the same things.

These are my current favourites:

Bolognese sauce with grated cheese
Chilli con carne without kidney beans
Roast chicken
Chicken baked wrapped in bacon
Marinated chicken on skewers (marinate in natural yoghurt mixed with curry and similar spices)
Pork chops/steaks
Steaks
Home made burgers
Meatballs with tomato sauce
Crustless bacon and egg pie
Chicken curry
Fried fish with cajun spices
Baked salmon with pesto
Salad with ham/egg/tuna mayo/cold poached salmon/prawn mayo/cold roast chicken/avocado etc etc

I'll post again if I think of any more.

Hoping for lots more ideas Smile
