Morning all!

Welcome to the second (or third if you didn't ubercamp) week of Bootcamp

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

I'm off to Leicester this morning, and won't be back until tomorrow evening, and no idea how much access I'll have to wifi/broadband, so apologies for any radio silence!

Hope you all had a good weekend, and here's to a good week

Hi everyone. I'm back. I followed the last bootcamp but I've had a holiday for the first couple of weeks of this one and I'm just getting round to posting.

Hope everyone has good losses this week.

Place-Marking

Haven't weighed in, as my plan isn't to do so until the end of bootcamp now.

Will have eggs and a BPC for breakfast. Not sure about lunch yet - have lots of options though.

Tea, i'm making crispy chicken - the coating is pork scratchings blended with spices and garlic. Will use egg to make the coating stick to the chicken.

Having it with spinach salad and mayo. DP will have corn on the cob and wedges too.

Have a great weekend everyone!Smile

Morning everyone - I have lost 5lbs, which I am ok with but I am still within my standard fluctuation weight zone so I will be really interested to see if I can get below this point. I would have lost more I think, but had a bit of an emotional blip on Saturday night and drank, which led me to eating things I shouldn't have. Sad That wont be happening again.

If I want to blast at it for a week, kind of Ubercamp it, is it just the same principle only no dairy (other than butter)? Any other tips for maximising weight loss?

Hope everyone has a good weigh-in!

Morning all!

I'm weighing in at 154 exactly, so that's 3.6 down this week and just under 14 lbs in 3 weeks (I started a week early). Very pleased and can't quite believe that I'm losing weight whilst eating all the 'wrong' things - I think I'm a convert!

Would someone mind putting my new weight on the spreadsheet please as I'm on my phone and it doesn't seem to work for me.

I'm off to Cumbria today for a week's holiday with family so may be out of touch for a while. Also at the mercy of someone else's menu planning which will be a challenge however I managed 2 meals out last week so I think I'm getting the hang of how to eat within the rules.

Good luck for today everyone and have a good week.

Just 1.4lb - sigh - but at least right direction. I think this is just a tricky weight for me (I havent managed to get below this for years). Last week was hard - there was a LOT of snacking/cheese, and I ate a lot and was lethargic and emotional so any loss at all is erally rather good.

Ive updated Marshy's too

Morning all. Still going well-just over a week before holiday. A pound over the stone mark. Know I didn't drink enough water yesterday. Breakfast was left over green veg fried in butter, then made a nest in the middle and cooked an egg in middle, slice of flax toast. Coffee and water.

Grr, I'm up this week by 1.4 lbs! Not sure how I've managed that as I've been eating v low carb, mostly meat/fish and eggs with bits of veg and cheese here and there. (TMI alert) I have been constipated for most of the week due to being on my period, so hopefully now that that's finishing up I will drop any retained water over the next few days. Nevermind, I am determined.

Well done to all the good loses so far!

had a manic morning of a 2.5 hour commute, small child going to new holiday club and associated angst, and getting lost ... so had no breakfast. Am starving now....

Ah questions I'm up 2 pounds this week. I fell off the wagon last weekend, but since then have been saintly. I'm actually thinking it may be more to do with the training I'm doing. I have had utterly crippling muscle soreness, and felt very swollen in the leg dept. I'm convinced it's made me heavier. I know my top half has shrunk again cos I was able to get into a size 16 top on Tuesday, that I couldn't wear the previous week, so all in all, I'm not too downhearted. I also know that my leggies/whole self will adjust to the training soon enough, so I won't have such a big reaction to each session.

My food and liquid have been perfect Monday, and I will keep on ubercamp as I still have pesky dairy intolerance going strong!

Questions - lots of water and make sure the fat levels are high

I think i may be falling down in the fat department ( I usually drink 5-6 litres of water a day so it can't be that!). Will try adding more butter to everything I eat...

trashcan sounds like your sore legs are holding onto some water/building muscle so definitely nothing to worry about there.

I think I will take measurements this week to have as a back up to scales.

Just checking in, 1lb gone for me but i did have a big loss the week before so just calibrating myself. Sounds like we've got some great successes already!

Here's to another week.

Questions. I put nearly 5lbs on everytime I have a period and it dis appears pretty much as quickly as it goes on once it finishes.

Haven't weighed yet but proper chuffed that I was wearing size 10's at the weekend. Shame I'm so skint saving for the wedding that I can't splash out on a load of new clothes Angry

Didn't have a fantastic day yesterday we had our menu tasting for the wedding which involved tasting the wines and fizz too..
Dunno how bad, but I can imagine that parfait isn't that great when lc but I didn't have any potatoes and only one spoonful of the deserts (there were two)
Also, ds2 isn't well. So had a horrendous night with him last night, this morning I had coffee with cream and then broccoli and Stilton soup for lunch.
Dinner will be chicken thighs/legs roast, with some veg.
Anyone got any ideas how I can make the chicken slightly tastier or more interesting? It has the skin on still.

Sorry about the essay, just kept writing Blush

Ready I normally cover my chicken in garlic butter and shove in the oven for a bit. Tesco sells an uber garlicy one, it's lovely.

I'm sure the tasting wont have done top much damage if you're straight back to BC.

I'm gauging size with Hollister stuff (have a bit of an addiction, it's so comfy) I was a large before I started and now wearing small (and a M hoodie but it's not tight at all), my M tops are too big. I have a. Xs zipper but it's a little tight at the moment, can go on okay but doesn't look too great, that's my goal for my holiday, first goal was to get the thing zipped up and I can do that now. :o

hello everyone, I am back from holidays now so can get online again. Had a few unavoidable carby encounters while away so have put on 3lb since I last weighed in. Back on track now and hopefully the extra pounds will disappear quickly!

readyforno2 · 04/08/2014 12:25

Not going to be in Tesco, but I suppose I could whip up some garlic butter. Great idea!

I know what you mean about the hollister stuff, I have one pair of trackies and a top. They're too big now for anything other than lounging about and I didn't want to buy anything else while I was still losing.
The funny thing was, I had decided to grab a pair of size 10 just to see where I was as I hadn't really lost much since the schools broke up.
Bought them in cancer research

schro yes I'm holding onto the period thing, let's see what happens - I don't feel too bad about the numbers as I'm now in my 5th week of LCing and feel good in general...

Great to have got the thing zipped up, and to go from a large to small is amazing.

Hi guys, thankfully I haven't found restarting after the carb and beer fest two week holiday too bad - I thought I'd have horrendous cravings but it's been fine. Have dropped 5 of the nasty 9lb gain so 4 more to go to be back to my lowest.

Hope you all have a good week xx
