Ex H doesn't yet know I am going to Rome because I didn't until about half an hour ago, but he knows we are going away somewhere.

New man text me earlier to tell me he was booking it. It is both a Valentine weekend & it will also be to celebrate our 6 month anniversary of meeting!

When I asked ex H to have the boys, he asked where I was going, then said I didn't have to answer him. I told him that I had no idea at the time where I was going.
He is being surprisingly ok about it all though. He even booked the Saturday off work!

I've told my mum I'm going away, but she doesn't know where yet. She just said "dirty weekend eh?"
Don't talk to dad about him at all. Dad doesn't want to know anything at all about my new relationship.

Ex H had an evening round my parents house last night. They very much still see him as family.

Magdelanian - I bumped into him a year ago in a bar. We started chatting, and it turned out that we had both recently separated. His marriage ended 3 months before mine.
He asked me if I fancied going out for a drink, but I was still living under the same roof as ex H at the time, so didn't feel right about going out on a date with another man.
He seemed so lovely and I thought he was rather attractive too, so I gave him my number.
We had a little text contact, but ex H found one of his messages so we left it that I could get in touch with him at a later date if I wanted to.

We had no contact for 6 months while I was going through my house move etc, but in the summer, a couple of months after I moved into my own place, I text him my new mobile number & we just started talking again.
After a month or so of the odd text message, he asked if I fancied going out for a drink with him, and here we are 5 months later!
