I have been on my own for 7 months now...everytime I attempt to arrange something nice for for and the dds (7 and 10) and me to do one of them moans and whinges that they dont want to do it. This particular incident is the cinema...dd2 doesnt want to go. I cant take dd1 without dd2 and FARKING HELL. WHY is she making it more difficult than it needs to be. Shes going to WHINGE all weekend before and after about it and im just really pissed off.Im TRYING to do something NICE.
I cant get a sitter...by the way or I would happily leave her behind...aarggggh thanks for listening.

My 3 are the same - ungrateful little watsits!!! Especially DS2, everything is BORING! I swear I could announce we are going to Disneyland tomorrow and he would say 'Boring'. He's only 7!

I would cancel the cinema trip, and have a girly night in for dd2. Get a DVD (pref something she will love and dd1 will hate), and lots of popcorn. That way dd1 can sulk in her room (bet she joins in though!) and dd2 doesn't miss out on the fun.
