Hi all
Have only joined recently and im after some advice, after been on my own for 2 years i have finally met someone, and things have been going ok, The problem now is how do i introduce my daughter to him? I dont want to do what my ex did, he had her to stay and let her find his girlfriend, who wasnt there when she went to bed, asleep in bed with him.

Has anyone been through this and survived?
Would love some advice, tips etc. This bloke is really keen to get to know her, but i keep stalling as im not sure how to handle it.
Thanks

I will be tackling this one day and think I will do it as "this is mummy's friend" ... keep it fun - go out places together, do things at home together - possibly hold off him staying over til she knows him a bit

If it goes anywhere permanent, you can change from mummy's / our friend to mummy's boyfriend etc and explain that "X will be spending a lot of time with us as he loves us and wants to get to know us"

hope that helps - good luck!

I definetly will echo what LewisFan said,I couldn't have put it any better myself:-)
I will probably(well ,I hope) be in your situation one day,and I would do just what LewisFan suggested.
It definetly sounds like the right approach.
Keep us posted and good luck:-)
