I said that it might give me nightmares if it's a thriller, and he said "Don't worry, I'll hold your hand if you get scared!"

i haven't seen any of them either, you could probably get the gist .

I haven't seen it but it gets quite good reviews.

I only ever went on one proper date to the pictures. I was about 14 I think and went with this guy who was a bit older than me, 17 or 18. He took me to see Friday 13th and I was so scared I basically screamed all the way through it. He didn't ask me out again .

PMSL, how funny!!

I remember ex H taking me to see golden eye for one of our first dates, and I wasn't impressed with that silly film!

The words "Spy thriller" are not exciting me too much, but I may be wrong & it may be a very good film!!

LOL Dino!

I must admit that when I was faced with a choice of films including this Bourne thing at our local cinema last w/e - and a child and DP free weekend, I chose not to go to the cinema at all! Umm, I guess you could say 'yes i'd love to go to the cinema, but not sure i like the sound of that film' or else 'ok...i'll hate it but you'll have to try and persuade me afterwards that it was good'! If you hate it and pretend you liked it, and you want to go out with him again he might always pick these sorts of films.

OTOH it might actually be good....

Dinosaur · 24/08/2007 21:04

So, never mind the film, what's he like?

Report
KaySamuels · 24/08/2007 21:04

I have seen the first two films and hought they were good, whereas bond films DP cannot get me to watch. Go you will enjoy.

I have said I would go, but I said "Hmmm, spy thriller indeed! Sounds like it may give me nightmares", which was when he replied with "Don't worry, I'll hold your hand if you're scared"

He seems a very nice bloke, dino. He is a train driver for the tunnel, and also trained to be a PE teacher. He is 37, quite nice looking, tall (opposite of ex H), fair(also opposite of ex H), dress sense needs a little attention, told me he thought I was in my twenties, so got a brownie point for that, but they all come out with that clap trap, don't they?! He was married for 10 years, but has no children because she was a career woman, and he has massive hands!!

If he's not nice to you, Blu and I will come and beat him up [fierce face]!

Honest Bourne isn't like Bond or anything, anyway if you don't like it you can always hold his hand

Report
Pinkchampagne · 24/08/2007 21:32

I shall warn him, dino!
I remember when you were threatening to come my way to stuff my ex H's mouth with carpet!!
