Back in February I got a letter from the CSA stating that xp had to pay the grand total of £5 a week for our 3 children.

Infact the letter says that 'he should continue pay'. The thing is, he said that although he recieved the same letter, they have never actually asked him for any money, and his benefits have not decreased either so it seems he isn't actually paying it.

Around the time that I had the letter, I recieved about £45 into my bank account, apparently from them, as the amounts added up.

Since then I have recieved nothing.

So, should i ring and try and find out if I should be getting this or is it just a waste of time ??

I am on IS but apparently I can keep up to £10 a week of CSA money is that right ??

LOL, I rang them and yup, they don't know what is going on.

They said that they last paid me in March (not sure it was then, thought it was earlier but anyway), and that since then they haven't recieved anything and so have paid me nothing.

They said the £5 should be taken from xp's benefits every week but hasn't been. I asked why, and they didn't know, although the first person I spoke to said that if he has other stuff to pay they can't take it, which I didn't get at all.

He gets full rent and council tax benefit soisn't paying anything like that.

Anyway, they have passed it to a caseworker, who will get back to me (or not).

Just started to get back onto my X via the CSA and have to start all over again. We made a ;private agreement in March after a year and a half which he hasnt honoured and now the whole process starts again. I despair.

Why are they so ineffective, useless and time wasting for every little thing. I relaly feel for you both it is so annoying when it should be such an easy process.
