Lone parents

CSA: they have 2 people under my National Insurance number so my case is going nowhere!... anyone had this before?

They cant do anything until this has been sorted out, but it has been 2 weeks since they told me this had happened and when i rang today, still nothing has been done!!

Its getting on my bloody nerves!

Yes something similar happened to me years ago.

I was claiming job seekers at the time (i was 17 and was made redundant)and i was pulled into the job centre as i got a letter saying there was suspicious circumstances or something.

Anyway it ended up some girl i had worked with previously had been using my NI number and had started a new job...job centre sorted it quickly.

Not sure if this helps but just thought i would tell you that it had happened to me.

my NI no apparently is duplicated so when i ring up i give my Case No. think they all start 3295 ..............and tell them quite firmly that my NI is duplicated with someone else so theres no point in asking for it. you have to be firm. if youve got a letter from them it should have your number written at the top somewhere.
