She is from a charity attatched to a local new childrens centre and Ds's nursery teacher reffered me for some advice, general moan etc.

Anyway, she's just been and we had a nice chat and she is now going to come and see me for an hour each week just so that I have someone I can talk to about stuff, and she is going to find out about getting me some debt help and childminders details for if I want to go and do a course or anything.

The one thing I wanted to run past people though is that she said if I like someone (not sure if it would be her) can go into the dd's school for an half an hour each week and just have a general chat with Dd1.
Dd1 is 9 and tbh is a pretty closed booked to me on the subject of her dad and our splitting up. She keeps her feelings very close to her chest and tends to let things build up and so I think this may be good for her, to just be able to chat with someone nuteral about anything she likes.
What do you think ??

Aww, Nutty, I think it is great that you have this person to talk to.

I also think it is a good idea for DD1 to have someone neutral to talk to too.
