Advice needed please about selling engagement ring

My marriage ended over four years ago. I am now finally ready to sell my engagement ring. I would be grateful for any advice especially recommended jewellers in London and how much will my ring have depreciated in value. Many thanks

Can't recommend any jewellers but when I sold mine I got quotes from different jewellers before selling. The place where I sold it eventually was an independent jeweller. I then went and spend the money on boots and the last bit went on my tattoo of the kids names. Was a good feeling!

And you probably can't expect to get what was paid for it tbh x

You may be surprised. The cost of precious metals has really risen so you may get more than you might think.
Definitely get more than one quote.

Hmm! Op you are a fucking genius!

I'm saving hard for a car ( while paying for lessons and test)

Every corner that can be cut to swerve more money into the pot has been, but did it occur to me to sell my engagement ring?

I guess I sort of thought I was keeping it for dd.

So how exactly do I do this?

I used http://www.hattongardenmetals.com/ thesepeople for my wedding and engagement rings post marriage. Mine only had a tiny stone so I went for the scrap gold value only.

Often your local independent jeweller will give you a fair price particularly if it is being melted down.
