Tax credit question

MagicHouse · 21/03/2013 22:45

Just a quick question - I claim tax credits, and can't remember what happens at the end of the financial year. Last year I had one of those letters saying I'd been selected to send in every shred of evidence about my claim. Which was a bit unnerving, but they were obviously ok with what I sent in.
But ordinarily, do I fill in a new form around now? Does it get sent through - should I have had it by now?? - It doesn't just roll on from one year to the next does it?
TIA

You will be sent it in the post, you can either full it in and return or renew by phone.

The deadline is end of July but you can't renew until you get pack, your payments should continue as they are until you renew or if you don't renew by deadline

Same boat here. I plan on phoning them when I get my payslip for march and I can calculate my earnings for the year. I've earned more this year, and don't want to be overpaid! If I don't make contact I think it rolls on until you get the renewal form, which could be too late!

Thanks, that was quick. Hopefully I'll get it through soon then, or else phone with annual salary info. I earned slightly more this year too, and don't want an overpayment building up.
