I have posted this here rather than in legal as it is more experience of it than the legal aspects I am interested in. We are in the very early stages of a contact case and as the parent has never seen the child and the child is 7 years old CAFCASS already recommended indirect contact as the maximum they feel may be apropriate (in a schedule 2 letter). I presume there are different variations of this in terms of what when and how? I also wondered if this is monitored in some way by anyone independent to check what letters/words are being exchanged and how the child reacts to it and if in fact the child does receieve it.
Any experience and advice would be appreciated.
