so dh and i seem to be the worst budgeters atm! i guess i is post baby lunacy on my part and hs inability to stop taking out cash BUT it must be possible to live on way less than we rae doing! last month ( and i am not joking) we cleared nearly 8k including rent and bills ($1500 going back to the uk to pay off last of credit cards) and then all the other stuff! I add i have had my mther over)bad defence i know) so have been driving lots and aus zoo etc.... so having broken down the budget i am planning to squeeze the belt down to $150 a week on grocerys. fuel is variable but a tank a week. so $100. nappies and clothes say $50 (like a misc pool) is that a possiblity? or am i mad to try.... i know 8 k is the other extreme but unless dh starts to earn 200k a year we are not going to enjoy that life style! Only had 8k after expenses and wage.... and want to buy a house!
So anyone else what does it cost you to live?
