Ah well I'll pass on that one - especially as dh is a veggie and I don't really drink! Maybe he can bring ds a koala teddy bear or something!

Thought of something for him to get - possibly not cheaper but properly Aussie - a Wiggles DVD for ds!

Actually DVDs are a good idea.

If he goes to the ABC shop (there are a few but the biggest is in the Queen Victoria Building in the middle of Sydney), he could get you The Chaser's War On Everything, which is a very funny parody of a news magazine programme.

A comedian called Chris Lilley has also done two excellent series - one is called The Nominees and is a mock documentary about the search for Australian of The Year, and the other is called Summer Heights High.

The ABC shop also has toys, so if your kids are into the Wiggles/Bananas in Pyjamas or whatever, he might be able to get them some soft toys or backpacks that are not available in the UK, so they will be the envy of their friends!
