Just had a scrounge on a review site, and it doesn't look good - Thing is: their quote was the most reasonable.

Moved with them a couple of times.

Bangkok to London - was OK.

London to Surrey - OK except they totally underestimated how much we had and how long it would take and then they dropped a chair. Replaced it so all OK.

Surrey to Vietnam - OK - they wanted copious cups of tea.

We moved from Vietnam to Bulgaria and didn't use them out of Vietnam but did use them IN Bulgaria as office had a close relationship with them. The manager there was great and we used them again for a move within Bulgaria and then when we left to move here to Budapest. DH also used them in Bulgaria to move the office.

So they are prob the moving company we have used the most and all in all we had good experiences but I do think it depends on the manager at the local office.

Thanks! Should be an interesting experience, wrangling a 1yr old and overseeing an entire household to be packed...not sure where the cups of tea will fit in...

friends have just used them to move out here and they were usless at both ends. Loads of stuff broken, mirrors and pictures not packed correctly in the uk.

As for price I just phned the co I liked most (CRown) and told them the price both Britannia and Pickfords had quoted and they cme back to me with a price inbetween both of them. Everything went exactly as they said it would, nothing broken. Fab highly recommend Crown.

We used them to move to Europe. Nice men but they did damage some furniture.

We have moved within Europe several times and they moved us from Surrey to Amsterdam - NEVER AGAIN! They packed badly in the UK, although as DH had already left and I was trying to supervise four packers on my own (and was pregnant), the extent of this did not become clear until we unpacked in Amsterdam five months later (stuff was in storage while we rented). They had misnumbered the boxes and so an entire pallet of stuff was missing, including most of the pieces of our bed and wardrobe and all our photos. Amsterdam end had apparently told them that, when the stuff first arrived but had been contradicted by the UK. They had also packed randomly and mislabelled boxes so e.g. stuff from our study in the attic was packed with plastic toys from the kitchen and labelled living room. They lost the screws for our cot (three of which were subsequently found on the living room sofa after they left in Amsterdam), the fourth never turned up. Given that DS2 had turned up and was 6 days old when we moved, that was a biggie! And there was lots more. It still brings me out in a cold sweat to think about it and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
