Moving to NZ did you take your white goods

and just get the plugs changed? Fridge, freezer, dryer, dishwasher.

We shipped out fridge, microwave, and washing machine and all were fine with new plugs Smile

We didn't but with hindsight I would, I find whiteware expensive here, especially when you first arrive and will no doubt encounter alot of expenses, many of which you would not have considered.

Great thanks. I have heard that we need to be careful with appliances with heating elements, something to do with different amps????

We brought all small kitchen applicances (blender, microwave, slow cooker etc) and have changed the plugs with no issues.

Sold the fridge in UK as we have has issues with having fridges damaged during transit before.

We have bought new kettle and toaster in Farmers sale.

Whiteware is expensive here unfortunately
