I am Wubb's Husband and have borowed Wubbs acount for 10 mins to post this message,I know she posted here and had friends that may not be on FB

Wendy will always be in our hearts, in the mountains, snowflakes and sand.

2 years ago Wendy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, after a mastectomy and chemotherapy Wendy had a scan in September showing that the cancer was still spreading after a further 2 different types of chemotherapy and fighting for 2 years she has finally been taken from us. Wendy was having problems with pain and breathing over the last 2 weeks and agreed to go into the Marie Curie Hospice in Gateshead on Wednesday 15th February, they did manage to help and ease all the pain, but on Thursday 16th February they informed us that the breathing issue was due to swelling below the diaphragm causing the lungs to be compacted, on Friday despite being on Oxygen Wendy started to slip into and out of consciousness, on Saturday the 18th February Wendy spoke her last words before slipping into unconsciousness, they were to our beautiful son Lawrie as he left to go home ?Love you, good night son? that must have taken such an effort. Wendy started having intermittent breadths at 12:50am on Sunday morning. Wendy passed away at 1am on Sunday morning 19th February, she was very peacefully and slipped away quietly thanks to the staff at the hospice who looked after the both of us until the end.
Wendy will live on in our hearts and Lawrie will always know what a special and beautiful mother he had, I will always remind him of how special and loved she was.
Wendy did share a dream, hallucination or vision with me and one of her friends Deborah who has already posted this on a forum so I?m going to pinch her convocation she had with Wendy:
?Woke really early this morning and wanted to share this with you all as this was part of the conversation I had with Wendy on Thursday
This is what she said, I hope I have used as many of her exact words as I could.
"You know I don't really believe in anything, but the other day I was well drifting, or maybe hallucinating : ) when mother Mary, and that's what she was called, mother Mary came and held my hand. She took me towards a man who was standing in front of a huge light and it was Jesus. I knew it was Jesus. I could see all of theses millions of particles of dust sparkling in the light behind him. Jesus explained that when we die that is what we become, millions of dust particles. And that we go back to earth in a million different places to sit on top of mountains, become snow flakes and grains of sand. We become a part of earth. We really never leave. "
I said to Wendy " that's are good as anything I have heard"
She said " well yes it's better than going to heaven and having to watch David sending Lawrie to school with a dodgy hair cut ' : D?
Always end on a joke that?s my girl.

I've just reminded myself of the conversations we had here. I liked her a lot.

And Wubbs DH, a few weeks ago she posted this (hope it's OK to mention):

"Every night before I go to sleep I try to think of at least 3 things I'm grateful for. They always revolve around my DH and DS, but I usually manage it. It helps me get up each day."
