Can anyone tell me what happens next for us? An elderly uncle of ours died six months ago intestate and three of his nephews/nieces are sorting out the estate and acting as administrators. We are at the point now where we have all sworn the oath and have been told the Grant will be issued within a couple of weeks. After IHT ,funeral bills, solicitor fees, accountant fees have been paid the only thing remaining is his house needs to be sold.Estate agent is lined up to proceed with this asap. Once the house is sold what happens then?
I would be so grateful for any help on this..we are wondering how long the whole thing will take to completely sort out.ThanksSmile
