i have 4 dd's. older 3 are in one huge room. but its just not working. dd3 is grumpy and just not a nice girl at the weekends so we are moving her into dd4 tiny unoccupied room (dd4 is in with us still).

its hard work, shifting everything around.
i have to take shelves etc down as dd3 bed wont fit in.

oh heck

is there anyway you could put up some sort of room dividers in the big room, so they all have their own space? iyswim?

or is it the actual night time thats a problem?

its the fact they keep dd3 awakeand wake her early. if the older dd's arent there then dd3 will sleep till almost 9am at the weekend.

Sounds as though you are doing the best thing moving her out for now then

Do they wake her on purpose? Or just generally being girls on a weekend?

How about sheer bribery to keep the older 2 away from dd3 in the morning. Favourite tv programme while dd3 sleeps?

i have tried to persude dh that we should have the big room qwith dd4, and move dd1+2 into our fairsized room and he says its too much 'hard work'

thew floor in the main room is very creaky, if dd1+2 wake up then it sets the cdreaks off under dd3 bed and wakes her up.

sounds like its the best thing to do, and if it doesn't work you could always change it

we have 3 boys in the same room and i know what you mean DS2 would sleep later if he was able to but we have no other rooms to put him into yet!!

I don't think there's anything else you can do atm.

If it's too much work for what you suggested then maybe the 4 yrs old in the wee room for just now is the best temporary option with the least amount of work? (iyswim!)

well i took the lazy route. instead of taking shelves down and moving a big heavey wardrobe. i bought a cheap short bed off ebay for £10 lol
