Jojo, you always find room!!

Well thats what we believe anyway,

We have 4 dc, from 13-2 years, and we are expecting our fifth. DH's idea really - see my other thread, but now we are expecting - I'm really excited.

Could you convert the loft? - thats what we have done, but we are quite lucky as DH is handy so did the whole loft himself - you don't need planning permission anymore.

Good luck - let us know what you decide.

yes the loft is a option,....but then i would need to find a home for 8 yrs of stuff stuffed in there As my dad says if you want it enough you will always find a way

Clearing out the junk is one of the worst things about coverting the loft, we made storage in the eaves, so we still had room for some "essentials".......

But your dad is right, where theres a will theres a way.

I think you need to decide if you want #5 first, then everything else falls into place, or you can give it a nudge towards the right place,

Are you not worried at all about over population? What if everyone had 5 kids?

Oh yes we are sure about another baby,..was more the whole sleeping arangement,... general room is not such a issue as we have a very large summer house at the bottom of the garden which is a games room/gym.

each to their own KERALA1

Go for it. How lovely.

I would like another and will probably try for my 5th next year.

Not sure if I will manage it as I am getting on a bit.

IF I do manage it I will get one of those double bunkbeds and the little one can share the double and middly can sleep on the top.

Big boy will have his own room till he leaves (if he does)

What if everyone only had 1 child?

I think if we all had just 1 child it would be a very bizzare world.

Me myself i would not call it selfish to want a large family!

I want number five too. I feel like I need to have some 'Magnificent, Orderly, Perfectly Coping With Everything Already' badge before I'm allowed to though. We have the room (or can make it, at least). It's more the reactions that put me off. People thought we were insane for having a fourth!

Big families rock. I think it helps the kids within them to be more considerate, better at responsibility, secure and loved by more people. DS1 (7) would like us to have ten children. I am selfishly telling him that five is my limit
