I don't really know where to post this message. I have 3 dss, the youngest being 8 months and I think that I maybe pregnant. I have suspected since friday but with one thing and another I have been unable to get a pregnancy test. My eldest is 3 and 10 months and ds2 is 2 and 4 months. This feels soo irresponsible but we (my dh and I) have been careful. I am a terrified that I won't be able to attend to the kids needs and my dh and my own. We have adapted to having 3 but it has been hard work as ds3 is not a good sleeper.

Just need some assurance and hints as to how you've coped especially with the comments of having a large family as well as having siblings close together

I have never had any of mine as close as yours, but my third and fourth have 16mths between them......and at that point DD1 was 5 and DD2 was 3, so still pretty close age gaps.

I managed, or should that say, WE managed. it was hard, I don;t deny that, but it was also lovely and it did not put me off more either......I had DS2 when DS2 was 2.2yrs.

I will say that it is easy now. they are all in school tho.

have you ever thought of contacting the local child-training college. they are often on the look-out for families to send their new trainee's out to for practical experience. your HV should know details, if your HV is good

congratulations. a new baby is wonderful, and they will all be so close growing up. mine are, and I would not change it for the world

I did not have DS2 when DS2 was 2.2yrs......that would be quite amazing!

DS2 came when DS1 was 2.2yrs:0

I felt like that when I suspected I was PG with No4.

I kind of knew I was but was in complet denial. I did a test and it was instantly +ve, I didn't have to wait 3 seconds let alone 3 minutes.
To say I was shock would be an understatment.

The PG was fine, no troubles at all apart from ones I had in my head.

Ds4 is nearly 20 months old now and TBH it is hard work now. I'm well documented on here saying hwo easy it is going from 3-4 and it was until he got to about 15 months.

Having 3 others and a toddler is hard.

I can't wait for him to start nursery.

By the time you have the baby your eldest will be 4.5 and (presumably) at school, and the next one down will be old enough for preschool if he doesn't already go, so most of your daytime will just be with the 2 babies.

It will be hard work at first, but you'll manage .

Just did the test and it's negative. The cramps must be more period related but no period as yet! Ironically, I feel very sad. My dh on the other hand is very relieved!!!!!
