How do I put some shares into an ISA?

Dh was in a share save scheme. He has very recently purchased the shares and I now have the share certificate. As far as I'm aware I can put the shares in an ISA if I do it within 90 days of the purchase. But I haven't got the faintest idea how to do so and can't seem to find any help on the net. Can anyone enlighten me?

I think you probably need to find a self select ISa, but I'm not sure about putting in shares you've already bought. I know they can be used for setting up the ISA wrapper and then buying shares for them. Try the Motley Fool messages boards (make sure you get the UK, not US website) they can be really helpful on this kind of thing

I had just used it recently and found it really useful and so I thought I would post it on the investment threads where I thought it might be helpful to others.

Nice to know there's are trusting nature amongst fellow Mums though.... perhaps you should spend more time caring for your children than taking on a self appointed vetting role for new mums on mumsnet
