Cells dividing by 3 not 2 - what does this mean?

Of recently fertilised eggs, most of them are now dividing by 3 rather than 2. Embryologist suggested that they are growing too fast - whilst they don't know why, apparently this suggests some abnormalities but at this stage they don't know more than that. Has anyone else had this? What does it mean?

I did IVF last cycle and my embryo was 5 cells at day 2. I went and researched and it was perfectly normal for them to divide unevenly. It was then 10 cells at day 3. And again I went and researched. I read one article where they had actually studied these 'fast growing' embryos and it turned out that while these do have a higher rate of not making it to day 5, it turned out that the ones that actually do make it to day 5 are the strongest embryos of all. I wish I could remember what I googled to come up with that website so I could post the link.

How many embryos do you have? What day are your embryos at and how many cells are they?
