Hi guys

We live in UK I decided to do my first ivf cycle in NY as i am 40 (our council doesnt do ivf at all anyway and i am too old) and we wanted to have a boy as DH has 2 grown girls. went through stim and got to er and only had 3 eggs they called that night to say all abnormal and my journey was over before it began. AMH .2 but FSH 11 and he can see loads of follicles so my body just didnt like that set of drugs. sooooo upset but after a week of feeling miserable i am now ready to try again sept on the microflare protocol so back to NY for stim then hopefully get more good eggs and will do a FET a month later with day 5 (hopefully) blastos due to the pgd.

Now the first half of stim i NEED to be in Uk and therefore need to find a clinic in london or GP who will write the prescription as a US one isnt valid to fill. We are self paying so dont need NHS prices or anything. Just dont know where to even start finding a clinic who would want/be willing to do this for me. Maybe by paying a consult fee or something? However i cant be the first to be doing this abroad???

any help at all would be helpful. i live in kingston so anywhere in central london or south would be amazing if anyone knew. Or can i just go to my GP?

thanks x

Hi Rija - I think you should go to your GP in the first instance. He might be able to recommend someone. I doubt that any/many clinics would be willing to prescribe anything if you're not a patient. Good luck!
