Due to start IVF and no AF yet!

Hi ladies, just a bit of a whinge as I was expecting to have started my second round of IVF this week but am still waiting for AF. Weird I know to be wishing it on but there is virtually no chance at all that DH and I will conceive naturally and I just want to get this cycle over and done with! Also if we don't start it soon them a) all my careful planning around time off at work will have to be reorganised- NOT an easy task and b) my clinic possibly might not be able to take us for this cycle (although I haven't heard of that happening yet, but it is a possibility). So am feeling very very frustrated with it all today. I am on annual leave this week and this is spoiling my time off too! AF is about as late as it has ever been in the last few years and I'm sure the stress is not helping!!

Anyone else been in the same situation before? xx

Yep I know that feeling too well, I have checked my knickers hundreds of times praying waiting for an ivf AF., I had an incident at Xmas on my second ivf where if I didn't bleed by a certain day due to Xmas closures I would of been delayed another 2-3 months, I managed it just!

Orgasms and I think its parsley tea? X

Yes! But then one day, it'll just arrive. I remember punching the air in the bathroom. How sad is that?

Ah thank you for your replies, so nice to know that I am not alone! I think possibly just posting that last night was cathartic as AF has indeed arrived today (with her associated pains, how do I always forget about that?) so generally feeling better as at least I know what's going on.

Have never heard of the parsley tea suggestion before but will consider it if there is a next time :)

Glad it's arrived, I'm having a donor egg cycle so been waiting for 3 AFs its been so stressful, the other recipient was 10 days late I was stuck down regging waiting for her

Didn't punch the air literally but I certainly felt relieved! lol
Now I am into the rest of the IVF rollercoaster of emotions... oh the joy.

I had the same thing on my last cycle. I squealed with joy when AF came. I was totally freaking out when it was 5 days late. Good luck with the next step. Xx
