Natural progesterone cream

I'm considering buying some online... Anyone got advice? Anyone used this stuff?
My day 21 progesterone was borderline low (26). They like to see over 30 to sustain a pregnancy.
My doctor won't help me further because we already have a child and don't qualify for nhs treatment.
I think ( and this is all from dr goggle) that my progesterone level indicates ovulation, but is too low for implantation to take place. I have spotting every months for at least 4-6 days prior to period. Have read this indicates low progesterone as well.
I'm a little worried about buying something not prescribed by doctor. But the many success stories online have got me wanting to give it a try.
Anyone with any knowledge or experience of this? Xx

I bought some a few months ago off the internet. It was called Swanson Natural Progesterone Cream. I assume i have the same problem as you, my progesterone is too low for implantation to occur. Also i think maybe my uterine lining is too thin as my periods are very light and short. I haven't used the cream yet as i am a bit nervous because it wasn't on prescription. My mum swore by it when she was going through the menopause, she said it worked wonders for hot flushes. She used to buy it from Holland and Barrett but they don't stock it anymore. Have you read about women actually falling pregnant using it then ? xx

Yeah I have. I also have a friend who used it and finally got pregnant after over a year. She had same problem as me. She swears by it, which makes me want to try it. But I read online that using it when in fact you don't have low progesterone can actually cause fertility problems; cause too much progesterone can also be a problem. I've had one day 21 test which was low, but I'm slightly concerned that I obviously can't tell my progesterone levels on a month by month basis! Although I'm pretty convinced that's my problem.
Think I'm gonna give it ago.....

Iv'e been trying for about 18 months with no success and i'm at the end of my tether now. Think i will have to give it a go. Mine is a small pot but don't think you need to use much, it cost about £12 including P&P x
