My first IVF I had very poor embryo quality that disintegrated before day 2 transfer. I then did research and started high protein diet, supplements and lots more, and my embryo quality improved each time subsequently. IVF 3 was great quality but BFN. A trainee did the transfer and they did not use ultrasound so I thought this might be the reason and am paying more for another go at a private clinic where an experience doctor will do an ultrasound guided embryo transfer.
But after such a long journey, the disappointment of 3 failed IVF's, and friends and families having babies at the moment, I am finding it really difficult to stay positive, and I spend my evenings eating junk and have even had alcohol. I then feel more guilty because I am destroying all my hard work and may be sabotaging embryo quality for my next IVF, but every night I still do it!
Any tips on how to stay positive and get myself out of this rut.
