Infertility

Does anyone else still hold on to the hope things will happen naturally?

Or is it just me. :/

Not only do I have a host of issues, DH has been told his sperm is severely impaired.

My DH has 100% abnormal sperm and I have a low AMH to top it off. Still doesn't stop me getting my hopes up every month between our IVF cycles and then disappointed when my period comes, even though 100% abnormal sperm logically means 0% chance.

I did and it did happen for me. Low amh - told only donor eggs etc. Had 2x mc on way and lost lots of hope. I did change my whole lifestyle to focus on egg health and had set myself a deadline of when it was donor eggs or adoption.
I count my blessings every day - But I never shook it out my head that it could happen. But at the time the little bit of hope was heart breaking Hmm
I'd say follow all drs say but if you can just dttd around ovulation because you never know. Also don't always tell dp that's what your up to - just jump him and try and make sex normal again.
Wishing everyone on thus board little miracles whichever way

I'm the same. Hoping every month despite the low amh. I even cried on Friday when my period came! Xx

We stopped fertility treatment about 6 years ago now.

We adopted our son over four years ago and I still have this strange idea that I could get pg naturally.

I would like to say though, in response to the hope comment above, that even though your life may not take you the way you want and hope it to be, doesn't mean that you won't be happy. I've been there though, and I know it's no fun.

Good luck to you all.

Thanks ladies! It always helps to know others feel the same way you do!

Of course i now got my hope up big time as I am 7DPO and have a huge dip below cover line. Though I am betting it is just AF coming early. :/

I've got low AMH as well as High Prolactin, Hypothyroidism, one working tube and DH has severe sperm impairment. :(

Hi
Am a very much older mum- my twins are 24 now.
Yes- after lots of fertility treatment. We were about to start IVF with a ground breaking doc on the NHS when the hormone injections worked. ( after several years)
I never thought I'd get pregnant let alone have twins.
Don't give up but don't let it grind you down!
