Bleeding from day 20....

Secondary infertility issue. Took years to have my DS, my one and only, conceived naturally in Dec 2010. Since then, took a year to get my cycle back after breast feeding and have settled into a 28-30 day cycle, but with light bleeding from day 20 before my period starts properly. Blood tests all normal and suggest ovulation, no evidence of PCOS.

Unfortunately I just don't seem to be able to get pregnant. The best that happens is well timed SWI resulting in conception, and delaying my period a week (in which time I do get positive tests) but as I always start bleeding from day 20 I kind of know that if I am pregnant I'm not going to stay that way.

Thought I had a luteal phase issue but my progesterone is pretty much what you'd expect then.

Waiting to be seen at fertility clinic. I'm 38 and despairing. Can anyone offer any suggestions or hope?

Hi
I used to have light spotting before af - I think it's a sign of luteul phase defect which some doctors don't believe in. I took b50 ( ie 59 mg of all the b vits) from holland and Barrett - sorted spotting and got me my sticky bfp and now lovely ds.
Might be worth a try.

I've been taking B6, will have a look at the one you're suggesting, thanks. Have also tried progesterone cream in the luteal phase. Both have reduced but not eliminated the bleeding, or maintained any pregnancy unfortunately.
