Hello everyone I'm new to this and found some forums confusing and from last year, I hope it's ok to start a new one?

So I'm 29 have been with my partner for 10 years, we have been TTC for 7 years. I have been pregnant once in this time but unfortunately it didn't work out, since then I have been on clomid (double dose) for 7 months ... Nothing, as a result of being on these for so long with no scans or monitoring I managed to grow several cysts and was told I have endometriosis (the clomid really didn't get along with endo) which then led to a laparoscopy. Tbh I'm confused about my fertility as such as one consultant said the endo is the cause and another suggesting it has no impact on my fertility and it's unknown :( my partners tests all came back fine and raring to go ...

We start IVF on Thursday all our tests are complete and it's injection time - feeling very anxious but excited to get started this has been going in motion since January!! I suppose I'm looking for hope/tips .. Evan a heads up.. Also curious on success or not for ladies around my age with endo suppose I want to prepare myself (not to be negative just have all possibilities thought about).

Thanks for reading my post xx

Hi Optimistic. You might want to have a look at the egg buddies thread over in Conception - it is a collection of people cycling around now. I'm on there. I should be starting cycle 4 around next week.

Yep - IVF cycle 4. The first three were natural IVF. This'll be the first go with drugs.
