Should I repeat day 21 test?

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and am on cycle one of Clomid. I just had my day 21 test and the result was 9.72. I feel quite disappointed, though it's an improvement on 1.88! I think I may have ovulated on day 17 or 18. I am tempted to go back in a couple of days and get it done again. What do you think?

When was this day 21 test actually done?. A 9.72 result shows that ovulation did not occur and with PCOS self determining when you ovulated is nigh on impossible. You probably did not ovulate on either of the days you suggest.

Clomid's main job is to make the ovaries work harder. It can also increase LH levels markedly so close monitoring whilst on this drug treatment is essential.

Are you being monitored whilst on clomid, it seems like it if a day 21 was done but they need to see you monthly. They should also be doing internal ultrasound scans to check if an egg is leaving the ovary.

It was done on the morning of day 21 - Wednesday. I'm wondering if I should get another one done over the weekend to see if it's any higher.
I'm not in the uk, my gynecologist will do an ultrasound when I see her. But I just spoke with someone yesterday who was having ultrasounds before ovulation when on clomid. Is this what I should expect too. My doctor is not a specialist in infertility and I wonder if I should find someone else?
