Ive been all over town today and could get a basal thermometer - no-one stocks them, or even knows what they are. Internet it is then!

Boots used to have a kit that included one. Did you try there? I bought it about four years ago.

Hi beginnings,

I went there first becaused I'd seen them there when we were trying for DD about 6 years ago. At first they didn't have a clue what I was talking about and though Basal was the brand. Once I'd managed to explain what it's for I got "oh, no we don't stock those either". The youth of today! ;-) that said the ladies in Holland and Barrett and Lloyds Pharmacy were older than me but didn't have a clue either.

Found one on eBay complete with ov test. Hopefully if I buy it I'll already be pregnant and it'll be a lovely waste of money!

I'd offer to send you mine only I threw it when moving house a while back. After two DCs in 16 mos, I no longer need it!! Just looked on boots website and they don't seem to do it anymore.
