Is this OHSS?

Hello.

Are there any ladies here with experience of OHSS? I'm having some funny symptoms post IVF and don't know what i is.

I'm currently 6 DPT (11 days post egg collection). I have mild PCO and produced 23 eggs in this cycle.
I thought things were going ok - stomach swelling went down in the last two days and I could breathe more normally again.
But today I'm feeling a bit sick, almost fainted and have a funny, heavy, a bit numb feeling in my legs. And breathing is funny too, a bit difficult. Could this be OHSS even though I don't have severe stomach pain (just some twinges in the ovaries, quite strong yesterday) and my stomach isn't very swollen? Or is it just some random thing I shouldn't worry about?

I would not ignore this and would contact the clinic as soon as you are able to do so. They need to monitor you again.

Women with PCO who undergo IVF are generally at more risk of ovarian hyperstimulation.

I had OHSS - felt absolutely dreadful after ET - really sick and bloated. It disappeared after about 5/6 days but 3 days after that came back with a vengeance. I could see my tummy expanding as I watched and I felt so sick I could barely move. I ended up hospitalised that night and was in for about 10 days. They did a pregnancy test after a few days which was positive and it turned out I was pregnant with twins. The pregnancy hormones triggered the return of the OHSS and it got a lot worse before it started to subside.
