ovulation & perfect sperm im confused :-(

I wonder if anyone could help i am at my wits end :-(
i have recently been trying for a baby for 3 years , i was referred to fertility clinic as i was not ovulating, i went this wk got blood took & came bk i ovulated & so not giving me clomid! i now need to wait on a 8 mnths waiting list to check my fallopian tubes , i feel like i cant take anymore has anyone else experienced the same? i cant get my head around never ovulating but now the test at hosp says yes please could someone help x

I tried for 8 years for 1st baby, bt said i want ovulating, took clomid for 3 months, nothing happened. Very depressed, desperate as all friends and siblings all starting families around me, felt very left out. Went for loads of other tests, all came back normal, after 8 years it just happened. 2 yrs for baby number 2, 3 yrs for baby 3 and baby 4 just happene made womb lean over..with baby 3, i went to a chiropractor, she told me of your back of misaligned, you cut of the proper flow of blood so you don't get the correct nutrients to the growing embryo Sooooo it never supports a pregnance, so you just end up having a period and never knew your body tried to be preg, Amy way, my sacrium.and pubic bone were pulling in the oposite direction she put it right on day 14 of my cycle, we did the business, and hey presto, i was preg. Try it, i really hope it works for you, i totally understand what you must be going through.

thank you for your reply.i just cant understand why i havnt ovulated for years after tests & the hospital do one test & i ovulated but result wasnt high.can a chiropractor help with unexplained infertility as i seem to think thats what i have :-( ? what exactly do they do? you are so right everyone around me is having children & i just feel alone and feel terrible for my partner as he wants it so much too.i cant wait until next xmas to go on ivf list its so frustrating x

Is that an 8 month wait for an Hsg test? That's a really long time. My experience and what I have read on here suggests more like 2 months and then part of the issue is synching up with your period.

You shouldn't be prescribed clomid anyway before the hsg test. Clomid is meant to make you ovulate but there is no point if you have a tube blocked. You can only take clomid a limited number of times in a lifetime no point in 'wasting' a go if your tubes aren't checked.

On the 'alternative therapies' my personal view is that you should save your money for clinically proven treatment. If you have some spare cash then ask about paying for an AMH test. This will give you an indication as to what your ovarian reserves are. The nhs will organise this test for you privately. i paid £50 and £70.

I do sympathise. It's hard being patient when you've waited so long.
