Hi there,
I am wondering if there is anyone in the same boat as me at the moment or if there is anyone who used to be in my position.. Just looking for some support to be honest as it seems everywhere I look people are getting preggo without having to baby dance more than once.
So my story is that I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries a few years ago, got married just over a year ago and we decided to start trying straight away. My periods up until that point were irregular - every 3-4 months, when I got married I had a period every month for about 8 months, then no period for 3 months, had one period and not had one since February 2013. My doctor referred us for treatment, hubby's sperm is good, no problems there. My day 21 blood test from my last period showed I didn't ovulate. No surprise there. The doctor instructed another blood test as my previous one showed my thyroid level was slightly high but not high enough for medication. She also wants me to have a HSG test done - which hurt like there's no tomorrow but that showed there's no issues with my tubes - no blockages. Il get the full report when I see my doctor. I've got to have a ultrasound to see my ovaries and then I'm hoping my doctor will put me on clomid. I am however feeling quite down and a lot of things are getting to me right now. Although I've made a plan in my head to lose some weight - I am slightly overweight - exercise more, continue to take my vitamins etc I'm worried that time is running out for me, I find myself researching the worst case scenarios like what if I have bad eggs, what if I don't have any eggs left and that's why I don't ovulate. My doctor wasn't overly supportive so I'm just looking for anyone out there in a similar situation to me. Baby dust to all x
