Fertility clinics midlands?

Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of clinics in the midlands? I'm looking online and the initial one I looked at (spires in Worcester) required going to london for the actual ifv or icsi treatment which I'm not sure would be viable.
Birmingham women's fertility clinic is nearer but their success rates are a fair bit lower. There is also nurture clinic in Nottingham.

Any experiences anyone?

Thanks

Radio 5 live had a show live from a midlands fertility clinic on Tuesday. I'm not sure what the name of it was, but the doctor sounded lovely. I think you can listen to the programme on the iplayer. It was on at 12pm on Tuesday, the shelagh fogarty show.

I don't have any experience yet as we are waiting for our first appointment there for icsi in 2 weeks but we have been referred to Care Fertility in Northampton website here they also have a branch in Nottingham

My boss and his wife had icsi treatment there about 3-4 years ago and successfully got pregnant first time, they now have a lovely 3 year old boy and nothing but good things to say about the place!

Care came very highly recommended to us by a lot of people, they do seem to have a good reputation round here. success rates for Northampton here
(all treatment is done on site so no travelling to London!)

Good luck!

Hi, I am currently with BMI in Birmingham and they have been great. To be honest I never did much research but was told the Priory BMI clinic are good so went with it. We have had the same consultant who is always available and ready to advise us but never pushing us out the door.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

I went to the assisted conception unit at Birmingham women's hospital. They were fab. To be honest the % success rate reflects only so much.

It's bloody hard ivf treatment and you want to deal with reception staff and nurses who make the journey easy. The staff there are amazing. The counsellor there is fantastic and they provide as much support as you need for a year after treatment finishes. Compare that to what you get from the private clinics.

I've had a success there (ds) and lots of failures (no more kids). But the team there were willing to support my journey as long as I needed - which put their own success rate down. Private clinics can pick and choose who they treat and I'm sure that bumps up % rates.

I can't praise them enough tbh.

The Royal Shrewsbury hospital do both private and nhs. It's small unit but excellant.
