Just about to start my super ovulation with a shot of gonal f. Anyone fancy hand holding? Shock

Go on! I'm still injecting with the huge blunt needles that are clexane, and miss the excellent needles and delivery system of the gonal f pen...

But it is terrifying the first time. Stick it in quick!

Good luck.

I did it! Didn't feel a thing. Every night for a week though, bleurgh!
What's the other ones then?

Ah well done! And good luck for tonight. It does become second nature. I particularly hatred the faffing around with the trigger injection. (just to give you something to look forward to!)

Clexane is a blood thinner which I take for ivf and then when pregnant. Huge blunt rotten needles. Blah.

Well, just when I thought I was alright about it, just had a huge fricking meltdown. I don't want to have to jab myself every night with horrible drugs that make me weepy. Bleugh. Sad

Oh dear! I did exactly the same over the clexane the first time I had to inject it. I ended up begging the consultants to keep me on it at 24 weeks pregnant!

You can do it. But of course you are recoiling at it. It's completely unnatural to stick bits of metal in your flesh.
