Worried about iui

Hi
We are due to start iui around march time and I've started to get really worried about it. I've accepted we are unlikely to get pregnant before march and this is the route that we need to go down but I would just like some advice really. Dh has low morphology, is iui likely to work? It seems to have such low success rates! I have also heard that its not great for low morphology!

Also what is the process if iui like?

I want to go to my next fertilty appointment armed with more knowledge!!! :)

Hi there. I am just finished my third IUI. I have to be honest we didnt hold out much hope of it working. But i found out last friday after 3 years of trying that i am PREGNANT. I couldnt believe it. The success rate is low but there is always a chance. I have a low egg count so this was our last go before IVF. Hang in there cause there it will happen :)

Congratulations!!! That's good to hear! We are unexplained section at the moment, so frustrating! The success rates seem so low but I'm trying to tell myself that it's worth a try and if it wasn't then they wouldn't suggest I do it! Did you take any time off after the final procedure? Do you think you did anything different this time to the others? :)

Hi there. I took Clomid for 6 months but it didnt work at all... My IUI was with injections. Cant remember the name but i will look it up tonight. We did 2 IUIs and took a month off then did our third.
The first one was not great... really didnt hold out much hope. The 2nd one they did an ultrasound at the same time to see what was happening.

The third one in my opinion, if it didnt work it wasnt for us... They used a cathater that they could see on the ultrasound and they placed it in the exact right spot. you could see it coming out of the cathater and she said everything couldnt have been timed or placed better.
If i was to recommend anything i would say that you should request they do it like that... it gives everything the best chance.
