Clomid side effects

Hi
I've taken clomid before & don't remember having any side effects. This time, however, I've been feeling nauseated and tired all week. (I'm hoping that means its working this time). I just wondered how long the side effects will go on for? I took the last tablet 2 days ago and I still feel ick. I hoped I'd feel better by now.

I'm really worried because I've taken clomid whilst pregnant. I don't know what it effects it might have.

I must be less than 4 weeks, because the ultrasound scan was 4 weeks ago and they'd have seen if I was pregnant then.

Oops - not grinning at worries about side effects, grinning at pregnancy. I took clomid about nine years ago for six months. My side effects were I got progressively more deranged and doo-lally. And three DSs.

How pregnant are you? Any drug plus pregnancy = extreme caution but clomid + pregnancy must happen all the time.

i hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and a wonderful baby at the end of it.

Spoke to the fertility nurse specialist, who said try not to worry & they'll scan me at around 6 weeks to see what's going on as I have absolutely no idea how pregnant I am.

FWIW, I needed clomid to get pg and I'm fairly sure I was still taking it when I conceived my second one. The dates and scans really didn't add up, and there was much head scratching by the team, but in hindsight I reckon I actually conceived 4 weeks before they said I did. DS is now a teenager and apart from a slight attitude problem, he is fine Smile

Thanks AnyFuckingDude. I'm feeling a bit more relaxed now. I'm sure it must happen quite a bit.

how are you feeling in yourself now ?

An anxious wait for the scan, yeah ?

Still tired and nauseated, but a bit better. Think it helps to know its because I'm pregnant! I can't face eating bread, which is what I normally live on Sad

Mixture of anxiety & excitement re:the scan. I'm scared to get too excited.
