Hi,

I've been TTC #1 for around 20 months with no joy.

Been to my G.P had all the trimmings blood test and all levels where normal.

Had a scan on my ovaries and womb and again nothing came back on that.

So my G.P has now referred me to a Gynecologist, so i was just wondering if anyone could elaborate as to what to expect?!

Cheers xxx

Both of you should attend this initial appointment; its usually a chat about your medical histories and your menstrual history. It is vitally important that the three of you can work as a team.

Did your GP not order any tests for your man?. Both of you will be tested further and in tandem; it is no point solely testing the woman to start with only to discover far later on that there are male factor problems. You need a diagnosis first and foremost.
